Moon meets Venus' belt

The moon is an astronomical object right? I had a concept in mind for a photo, sketched it out, and now just needed to wait for the right conditions. The moon would be the shape and in the right location March 20/21. I just needed the snow to stick around until then! After a week of positive temperatures the snow left and so did my hopes of getting the photo I wanted. I decided it wouldn't hurt anyways to head and try to see if it worked technically.
