I used to work at Henley Business School whose beautiful campus lies on the banks of the Thames. During the winter of 2014 the exceptional flooding rose higher than in anyone's memory.
During a workshop break I took this shot and in post-processing B/W seemed more dramatic and showed off the texture of the tree trunk to best advantage. Seeing the structure of the tree canopy is also a seasonal bonus.
