Lofoten Islands. A photographer's paradise. A damn long journey, expensive flights, rental cars and accommodations. 5 out of 6 days with rather bad weather. This is the downside. But there was this night. The night before solstice. The night when the sky exploded. The time when you forget all stresses and strains... Wait. Not true. To find a good composition while witnessing the most incredible light you've ever seen, is pure stress! I couldn't believe my eyes when the clouds formed shapes I never saw before. A "boomerang" cloud nestled to the peak in the distance. Awe-inspiring!
