This was a tough one for me. I already had bad experiences while climbing wet rocks with camera gear. A while ago I lost a lens because of my stupdity.
So I learned and climbed wet rocks without my gear, hehe. A really precarious position, putting the camera onto the tripod while balancing myself to not fall into the ocean.
Well, I got it. But it also got me! One rogue wave splashed up to my chest. The camera got wet, but it survived. Besides the HDMI jack that corroded to death.
I not only love the rocky coastline of La Palma but this island is the place where I got the so many colorful sunrises and sunsets, every other day.
