Plowing the onion field

I took this picture when exploring the rural countryside in the high mountains of central Mexico. The main crop of this little corner of Mexico is white onions. In the 8-years that I lived in Mexico I saw a farm tractor just one time. I passed through a cluster of houses not far from where this picture was taken. The sides of the houses were draped with onion sets waiting to be planted.
