Small flower in a planter. I took this at night under a low-watt outdoor light The planter was about 8 feet up the side of the house. I placed a ladder against the house, strapped a tripod to the top of the ladder, and mounted the camera with a cable release. I placed a second ladder next to the first one and climbed up to set the shutter and aperture and check the focus. I climbed down the ladder, grabbed the cable release, and, voila!
