Self-Made

Before most of my projects, I try the products, props and light sets I'm going to use on my models. That way I gain some time on the day of the photo shoot and I also make sure nothing would cause arm to my model.
I had some left over black body paint and just got a new pigment from MAC… as I have a conceptual shoot this Sunday, I decided I would give it a try to see if I could incorporate it in my upcoming photo shoot.
Next thing I know, I started painting my whole face black and putting some gold pigment here and there. As I took my gel for the eyebrows, I tried to put some on my beard and apply the pigment on it. It looked absolutely out of this world! A few clicks in Photoshop and here we go… Sometimes test shoots and makeups can make for great surprises :)

Excellent work !

Very creative as usual!! félicitations Quentin!

beauty dish + reflector?

Almost ;) A white 70cm beauty dish with white deflector and a 50x130 softobx to fill (hence the catch light that might look like a reflector).

Killer work!

This is pretty awesome for a test shot!

Really nice work!! I have done something similar, check it out
