Mattamuskeet Twilight

This was another 3 am hit the road to get to the overlook before blue hour. I had a good prediction with the wind but the light upper level clouds stayed off in a distance. This shot was taken at 15mm f/2.8, ISO 800 and 13 sec shutter speed with the lens focused at infinity. Hyde County has some of he darkest skies in North Carolina but even then it's tricky to get it all in. I really like this one with the overlook and you can just see the Milky Way in the night sky. This is a spot I will keep revisiting in efforts to build a good collection of sunrises behind this tree line.
