Buckhorn Lake is about 20 minuets from where I live. Every sunset has it's onw fingerprint. For me the camera gives it purpose but it's all about the experience. This gives me a moment during the week to unwind a bit and enjoy being outside. A recharge the batteries and once again the opportunity to be creative. I really like how the clouds frame the sunset in this photo. When I first arrived I noticed this string of clouds off in the distance and slowing moving to the area where the sun will be setting. On this day the stars aligned and I was blessed with the composition I was hoping for. I underexposed to not have blow outs but this also really brings out the warm tones on the horizon. This photo was taken with the canon R5 and 50mm with a 24-70 2.8.
