Biltmore Wedding

I very much prefer to do my formal shots differently, if at all possible, especially the wedding party shots. After finishing up with the family shots, the wedding party and I headed to the main house at the Biltmore Estate for some pictures. The sun was setting, so rather than shoot with such strong light, I found this 'little' enclave on the shaded side of the house. I very much like the casualness of the image, and having everyone looking at me except the bride and groom, who are lost in each other. Everyone did a great job looking 'cool', too. The shade helped out tremendously, and, with the house pretty close, there wasn't a ton of room for depth of field, so I had quite a bit of freedom for the settings. Minimal editing was done in Lightroom; minor curves adjustment to bring up the blacks, slight color corrections, and a touch of sharpness.
