But what if your photo is crowded? Using the lasso tool for each person can be exhausting. Here’s where Nace’s method shines. Switching to quick mask mode, you can paint over everything you want to remove. This method is faster and doesn’t require precision. Simply hit Q to enter quick mask mode, then use the brush tool to paint over the people. Exiting quick mask mode turns the painted areas into selections.
Nace advises making sure your selections are correct. After painting, invert your selection to ensure it’s accurate. This step is crucial. Click the inverse icon to make sure only the painted areas are selected. Now, apply the generative fill. Photoshop will use AI to fill in the selected areas seamlessly.
