Three Fantastic Uses for the Remove Tool in Photoshop

The Remove Tool in Adobe Photoshop is a very handy tool, but did you know it can do more than just remove? In this video, PiXimperfect shows us three brilliant ways to make the most of this tool to make your editing workflow even easier.

In the first example shown on the video, PiXimperfect has a photo of a male model and wants to straighten the hairline and beard. Using the Remove Tool, this was a very quick process, with excellent, clean results. It even works well for eyebrows too!

In the next example, Dinda is removing artefacts from the image, which leaves a very messy foreground with ghosting and messy lines. However, after several passes with the Remove Tool, all is fixed. The Remove Tool is great at fixing lines and removing the ghosting, so you don't have to just clone-stamp your way through the process, as that can be very tedious!

The final image was removing a stick from a wildlife image, straightening the branches ,and then removing the shadow of the stick from the bird's feather. This is where Dinda was able to combine Photoshop Beta's new function, Generative Fill, to resolve a few of the issues in combination with the Remove Tool.
