Every Focal Length in One Lens: A Review of the Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD

Superzoom lenses are traditionally not known for their image quality, but in recent years, some serious strides have been made by manufacturers, and certain models can now produce good photos while providing remarkable levels of convenience, allowing you to cover every conceivable focal length with only one device. This great video review takes a look at such a lens, the Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD.

Coming to you from Arthur R, this great video review takes a look at the Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD lens. Even by superzoom standards, the 18-300mm is quite remarkable, offering a 16.6x superzoom range for an equivalent focal length range of 27-450mm. While you should not expect superlative image quality from such a lens, it is really about the convenience and portability. If you are headed out for a walk or on a trip and you do not want to carry around a backpack full of lenses, being willing to compromise a bit on image quality and maximum aperture can make your life a lot easier (and save you quite a bit of money as well). Check out the video above for the full rundown on the lens.
