ReelSteady Software Can Make Your Shaky Videos Look Amazing

Normally I don't promote software based on their promo video alone but this video was so compelling I had to share it. The ReelSteady plugin for After Effects appears to be made of pure magic, taking cheap looking footage and making it look like Hollywood CGI.

The software isn't cheap at $400 but if it works as well as their promo video would have you believe, that price seems very reasonable. At the moment it still feels a little too good to be true but you are welcome to download the free trial right now. Don't worry, they have a great tutorial section which teaches you how to use the software.

We are going to do our own review of this software in the near future and we will give you our unbiased thoughts when we have had a chance to play with it. I guess I need to learn how to use After Effects.

watch their tutorial video and at 6:10 you will see that this thing messes up a lot of your frames as items pop in and out like graphics in a game that has artifacting. the fact that this is shown to sell this product is a turn off.

Don't think it's "shown to sell" it's a really interesting software with a free trail. Just sharing info.

Actually, what's shown next, is the refining process, which I'm guessing gets rid of the artifacting... And I'd still take it over Subspace Warp stabilizer ANY DAY ! :)

Maybe it's just me but I can't access the site. Maybe your article crashed their server.

Kind of reminds me of Microsoft Hyperlapse.... I don't know if you can set the hyperlapse to 1x to simply get the smoothing effect without timelapse, but I will try later on.

awww man, only works on AFX CC 2014 not 2015 -.-
