On March 2011 a tsunami in Japan killed over 20,000 people and left thousands more homeless and destitute. Many people from all over the world came together to help the country of Japan during this catastrophic event. All Hands Volunteers was one of the many groups in that helped during the recovery and cleanup efforts. Becci Manson was on board with the group and decided that she could use her gifts as a high-end retoucher to help salvage and restore not only the photos that were washed away with the horrible events of that day, but the memories that left with them. This is her story.
