5 Things Every Wedding Photographer Should Do After a Wedding

Wedding photography is a challenging, high-pressure genre, but the work does not end once you leave the venue for the night. There are some crucial things you should do after every wedding to give your business the best chance for success, and this excellent video discusses five of the most important.

Coming to you from John Branch IV Photography, this great video details five things you should do after every wedding you shoot. By far, the most important is backing up your images. We all know there are no do-overs for weddings, and the sooner you can start backing up the images, the better. If you read stories about disasters in which photographers had their memory cards stolen or something similar, a lot of the time, it happened after they left their bag in their trunk for the weekend or something similar. With today's technology, there is really no excuse for not backing up your images as soon as possible. In fact, there are hard drives with built-in card readers that will automatically back up memory cards on site, no computer needed. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
