B&H Shares the Story Behind Stacy Pearsall's Portraits of US Veterans

Every once in a while I come across a photographer or project that blows me away in terms of content, just in time for Independence Day weekend, B&H released this video of Stacy Pearsall, US Airforce Veteran and combat photojournalist, telling the story behind one of her latest and largest project, photographing veterans. Take a look.

As always, thank you to the men and women of our nation's armed forces, happy Independence Day to all.

Awesome lady!

She came and talked at my high school along with her husband (also a combat photographer) last year and she truly inspired me!

I got to hear her speak at Photo Pro Expo back in February and she was an awesome speaker. She really is a bad ass as well and can hang with the toughest of them.

That's great! My father and brother both served in the Air Force and it's always great to hear about things like this. I hope it takes off like Help-Portrait and maybe we can see one of these in all major cities and small cities soon! :)

Being a veteran, I really applaud Stacy's project. Not only is she fitting a style to each individual, but she's doing a great service to the often overlooked people in our country. Living in a "celebrity driven" culture, it's great to see regular people photographed like a celebrity.
