Only Hours Left To Enter Fstoppers Biggest Photography Contest Ever

The first ever Fstoppers Workshop in the Bahamas is happening May 28th - June 1st at Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and we want to give one of our readers the trip of a lifetime for FREE! We are actually doing 2 separate contests and they both end today, Friday May 28th at midnight eastern time.  If you are looking to expand your own photo skills, connect with other photographers in your field, explore a different genre of photography, or simply take a vacation you can write off, this is going to be the event to attend. How do you win this trip for free? Details are below:

Contest 1: All expense paid trip to the 2014 Fstoppers Workshop in Nassau, Bahamas.

This contest is open to everyone world-wide. On February 1st, 2014, one lucky Fstoppers fan will win a flight voucher worth up to $500 to travel to the workshop in the Bahamas. They will also win accommodations for 5 nights at the Atlantis Resort and access to any of the courses offered throughout the event. A passport is required to enter the Bahamas so make sure your documents are current and up to date.

Fstoppers.com: All you have to do is leave a comment on this post below explaining why you want to win this contest. Vulgar or trolling entries will be disqualified/deleted so keep it nice

On February 1st we will randomly choose 1 name from each of the areas mentioned above and randomly draw one as the grand prize winner.

Contest 2: Full Refund on All Paid Classes

This second contest is open only to those who have signed up and paid for a class at the 2014 Fstoppers Workshop. To inspire you guys to sign up early, rather than waiting until the last minute, on February 1st we will pick one lucky attendee and reimburse their entire photography workshop class package. The full refund amount will depend on the number of classes bought prior to the announcement of the winner. Since this year's workshop is limited to about 200 students, your chances of being chosen are much greater than the above contest open to the general public.

Additional Rules and Terms:
All entries must be submitted before 11:59 PM eastern time on January 31st for consideration. Prizes are contingent on winner attending the workshop and are worth no actual monetary value. Winning trip and classes cannot be transferred or given to anyone other than the winner. Passport is required.

the bahamas ... photography ... all expenses paid ... what's not to like? that being said ... i really want to win this

Want to switch back from full frame to APS-C. I'm ok with one last shot before I say good bye to my system (especially in Bahamas!)

Hello from Macedonia! I have finished Film and TV camera but am more attracted to photography rather than video, so i will be really happy if i get a chance to come to this workshop.

A trip to the Bahamas to learn about photography. I think that is all the why I need. I'll take any opportunity to learn about photography I can get.

simply, because I Can win - thanks to you all :)

i want to live my dream of being a professional photographer

Sign me up... I would love the opportunity to shot in a exotic place such as the Bahamas. I am currently looking to extend my wedding photography skills and build my portfolio to include destinations and learning to shoot in a place like the Bahamas would be just the skill set I would love to learn.

-ben

I am trying to start over with my business, I've been off the photography market for over a year now because I had to work in other areas in order to gain some cash and relaunch my brand. This workshop would be the best thing to happen to me and I'm sure it would help me get everything set for success.

"LIFE IS A COLLECTION OF SINGLE MOMENTS JOINED TOGETHER BY MOVEMENTS." AS photographers we freeze time to share the beauty within each singular frame ... we capture it from were only our eyes can..... to be part of this would humble and amaze as only this level of photographic royalty could... this kiwi from Australia would change her world and the lives of others with such an opportunity. ..thank you Fstoppers for such a wicked event

I wanna win coz it is a great opportunity to change something, to move away from this office chair i am stuck in. But eventually, it is simply a question of luck, maybe even the change i am looking for

This would be a great way to celebrate getting my degree in photography!

I'm pretty new to photography and I'm watching and reading every tutorial I can find. Especially from Mark Wallace. Meeting him and all the others would be awesome !!!

I want to learn from you and the wonderful photographers there! I'd love to go to the workshop!

Once, during my third year at the architecture university,
happens a countryside student trip to measure an old chapel as a part of our
cultural heritage class. Soon after we arrived, our tutor went out the bus in a
hurry with a camera and tripod. I follow him curiously. He got inside the chapel in just a
moment when natural light came subtle from the side windows. The atmosphere was
unique and so was the careful preparation for the picture: light measurements with handheld photometer and several trials to test the proper location of the camera for the composition
he has in mind. I knew in that moment, more than thirty years ago, that
photography would be my life passion.

For an old architect (54) who always wanted to be a photographer, your 2014 Workshop is a dream to attend.

Thanks.

Hard to choose which workshop to miss! Would have to catch Mike Kelly's though! Would love the chance to hang out with this group of talent and the others attending. Good luck to rest of you entering!...but I'm hoping to win! ;-)

Opportunity of a lifetime...would love to meet and learn from some of the worlds best. Thanks for running the contest!

No feel bad for me stories or I any die hard reasons why I 'need' this. I'm planning on being down there anyways and am on the fence about copping a seat into Keatley's. Not for his lighting or technical aspects, but to see how he works with subjects and clients and how he reacts to subtle changes and how he controls the flow of the shoot.

This looks so awesome! Learning in the sun and a beautiful place, what could be better, except having it all free!

looks like a great photography competition!

Just have to say keep up with the amazing work looking forward to see
new tips, and it will be one of the best opportunity to learn from the best more about
photography and used it in weddings to get to a higher skill level.

My bags are packed, just tell me when my flight leaves.

As my commercial and portrait photography business grows, so much my skill-set and quality. Only FStoppers delivers the type of sought-after-information and instruction that really makes a difference in my workflow. Please lawd! Pick ME!!

I haven't taken a vacation in 5 years but I escape every day with my camera and follow FStoppers for best practices and inspiration!

I've a pro shooter for years. The last 6 years have been rough. Running
my own business, and shooting full-time in the corporate world. I would love to go in order refresh my creative mojo, and get a vacation. I haven't been on one in years.

The Bahamas... What a great place to practice my travel photography!

Thanks Fstoppers, you have been a source of great inspiration for me.
Looking forward to what 2014 brings for us all!

Done.. Let me know when to start packing my bags!

After 4 kids, having to put my careers to the side for years, and not having been on vacation in a decade, I would love to win this! Being re-inspired and learning new skills in the beauty of the Bahamas? Bliss :)

A chance to take a break AND learn more photography related stuffs! Awesome!

What a great opportunity to level up my meager photography skills! All the best everyone!

This would be awesome to win. If I won that would be incredible so I could meet professional photographers and see how they do it also being a college student it could give me a real world perspective on my future and how to make it successful! Anyone who wins this is lucky!

Awesome opportunity and a treasure trove of wisdom! I would love to hang out and learn with other photographers!

Could not imagine having this opportunity to learn from some of the best.

Not sure if my post posted or not but what I wanted to say is thank you for hosting such an amazing event and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to enter for an opportunity to join in. I'm a long-time follower of Fstoppers and credit you all for helping me to navigate the wonderful world of photography and the business aspects of becoming a professional. As someone whose had to educate myself on a dime (the one left over after putting tow kids through college) I know I can greatly benefit and make giant leaps forward in my career from attending this workshop. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Hope to turn my hobby into something more professional. http://500px.com/DmitryKyznetsov

As a creative individual, I've written few lyrics, played few tunes, till I discovered my love for photography, which enabled me to put some of those ideas/stories into frames. Learning and developing skills is ALL I ask and I'll complete the circle of giving it back to many. So choose me!

I am 30 years old, photograper since finished university as psychologist, but visual culture, especially photography had a much bigger impact on me so thats why i become that. And now, here is a great contest to win not just an unforgattable trip, but a much more valuable prize to be able to learn from the bests.

Hopefully Canadians are allowed to learn about photography as well :) I hope so as well as an established photographer.

Super stoked! Thanks for this great oppurtunity guys :)

Photography is storytelling at it's most simple and I want to go on an adventure so I can have a story to tell.

Awesome!

I would love to win!! I have always wanted to travel and go to a workshop! I haven't gotten to take a workshop yet and don't get to travel much, since we have 4 year old twins...this would be so amazing to go to! I would love to go and be inspired and learn a bunch!! :)

I would absolutely love to win this. I am just starting to market myself in a wider market and trying to break into wedding photography. I've had my business for 6 years now and have done mostly family portraits and head shots, but I really want to expand my knowledge and just absorb all the information I can! I LOVE to learn and would just really appreciate the opportunity.

Thanks!! Maria

You can never have too much education. A rising tide raises all ships, and Atlantis is definitely a place I would like to dock!

I would like to win because...well look at my picture below...who wouldnt want to spend time with this guy?!

I live in Orlando Florida, and am really, really into nature and macro photography, I do the best with what I have, and am currently taking the College Board AP design and composition class, using only photography for my concentration. I'd love for someone to be able to teach me how to produce better photographs, hence all of the times I'm entering this contest.

This would be my big break in learning and growing as a serious photographer. I'm still in college so I have no funds to go on a trip like this on my own. It would be a dream to go to this!

I want to attend because: 1) I; 2) Love; 3) Photography

I've been at it (photography) for the past 19 yeras. I'm from Puerto Rico and learning resources are limited. I've tried to take workshops as much as possible but it's hard to take as many as I want financially speaking. Most of what I've learned has been self taught or working as an assistant in studios. I've taken up architecture photography seriously for the past fee years but as stated before, resources and learning tools are limited on my island. It will be an amazing opportunity to be able to learn from Mike Kelley on your workshops personally. I've even bought "where art meets architecture". It's a great tool but learning from the man himself would be a lifetime experience an will definitely help kick start my business which I really need. Thanks fstoppers for this opportunity and hood luck to all.
Piti
