Only Hours Left To Enter Fstoppers Biggest Photography Contest Ever

The first ever Fstoppers Workshop in the Bahamas is happening May 28th - June 1st at Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and we want to give one of our readers the trip of a lifetime for FREE! We are actually doing 2 separate contests and they both end today, Friday May 28th at midnight eastern time.  If you are looking to expand your own photo skills, connect with other photographers in your field, explore a different genre of photography, or simply take a vacation you can write off, this is going to be the event to attend. How do you win this trip for free? Details are below:

Contest 1: All expense paid trip to the 2014 Fstoppers Workshop in Nassau, Bahamas.

This contest is open to everyone world-wide. On February 1st, 2014, one lucky Fstoppers fan will win a flight voucher worth up to $500 to travel to the workshop in the Bahamas. They will also win accommodations for 5 nights at the Atlantis Resort and access to any of the courses offered throughout the event. A passport is required to enter the Bahamas so make sure your documents are current and up to date.

How to enter (each option below will count as a separate entry):

Fstoppers.com: All you have to do is leave a comment on this post below explaining why you want to win this contest. Vulgar or trolling entries will be disqualified/deleted so keep it nice

Twitter: Simply follow @fstoppers and retweet the following message between now and Jan 31st: "Follow @Fstoppers and retweet this message to win a free trip to the Bahamas for the Fstoppers Photo Workshop http://bit.ly/1afo3ky"

On February 1st we will randomly choose 1 name from each of the areas mentioned above and randomly draw one as the grand prize winner.

Contest 2: Full Refund on All Paid Classes

This second contest is open only to those who have signed up and paid for a class at the 2014 Fstoppers Workshop. To inspire you guys to sign up early, rather than waiting until the last minute, on February 1st we will pick one lucky attendee and reimburse their entire photography workshop class package. The full refund amount will depend on the number of classes bought prior to the announcement of the winner. Since this year's workshop is limited to about 200 students, your chances of being chosen are much greater than the above contest open to the general public.

Additional Rules and Terms:
All entries must be submitted before 11:59 PM eastern time on January 31st for consideration. Prizes are contingent on winner attending the workshop and are worth no actual monetary value. Winning trip and classes cannot be transferred or given to anyone other than the winner. Passport is required.

I think this is an opportunity of a life time, that will reveal a photographers area in which they want to pursue. I personally have become obsessed with photography in all it's incredible forms. From shooting with a Canon 600D to the incredible 5D MarkII and even falling in love with iPhoneography and instagram, in which I display my shots. I'm very new to all of this, but what a privilege it is to have been introduced to what has now become a lifestyle; the world of photography. I have pretty big dreams that seem ridiculous at times but I believe something like this would be possible with a little bit of faith. Thank you Fstoppers! Peace

El mejor lugar para aprender, entre camaradería y expertos! igual que aquí en fstoppers.com

I need to rejuvenate my head. A trip anywhere to work on my photography skills would be great. I've been out of college with a degree in photography for about 1 year, and I feel like I need a break from a monotonous life of retail. I shoot on the side, but I am slowly building a business. Help a veteran out. If not, congratulations to the winner.

The legend that is Peter Hurley + The Bahamas + Photography...SHABANG!!!!
I'd LOVE to come along to the Bahamas and learn from Peter. We've just had our second baby so we've out a freeze on my photography education budget for now (well, my wife has!!). It would be quite simply the coolest thing in the world to take a trip to the Bahamas to learn from the man himself.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Mike

I would be great experience for me if I had a chance to be a part of seminar. Dream come true!

As a resident of India, I'd really like to learn the western approach to photography

I. Would. Love. To. Take. This. Workshop.

Fantastic crew, great photographers, amazing place. I feel everybody who is serious about improving their craft should be on Fstoppers Workshop in Bahamas. I definitely will be there!

Looks like an amazing time. Would love to learn a lot from the knowledgable instructors and the beautiful bahamas.

If it was held in Siberia or in the Desert, I'd still attend. For me Photography has become a passion, even through difficult times in life it has given me positive vibes. This would be a great opportunity to expand my knowledge and vision (Oh heck, maybe yours also!). Besides that, I could use some Tan.

I want to win this thing, because I want to see what kind of an operation Hurley is running over there.

I would love to be there. My first serious trip ever. Thx for this amazing opportunity!

For a photographer who lives high up in the north with only 3h of daylight every day, this workshop sounds like a trip to the paradise. And it also will help you to get to the new level in photography.. I think I am dreaming.

Choose me because why the hell not!

Perfect opportunity to escape the rainy Netherlands, learn from the best and meet other fellow photographers!

As a person learning photography from scratch; the opportunity to learn from people that have been doing this for years would be awesome. Thank you for the chance to learn and grow.

Hi Fstoppers team, love what you do and thanks for providing an amazing opportunity such as this. I have been a photographer for 4 years and have never received any formal training or attended any courses, not because I think I'm hot stuff and don't need it but never could afford it. Nonetheless the internet has been my Obi Wan Kenobi on this journey through photography and I have to give you guys props for being one of my virtual mentors and instructors. A day doesn't go by when I'm not taking a look online to see what you guys have posted next for me to incorporate into my work. It would be AWESOME to actually meet the team and be a part of your community in person even for a short time - hey the decent weather wouldn't hurt either! Bahamas or not you guys rock and I have already received so much from this community - long may it thrive. Thank you. Antony from London, England.

There is always a chance to learn new things

I didn't plan any vacation for 2014. Why not wining this one? :)
Time to pack for this trip ;)

I'm ready!!!!

Has there ever been such a thing as this magnificent workshop? I mean, the location, the instructors, the weather, the hotties of Fstoppers themselves, what is there not to like? This little Dutch photography gal would love to indulge in this absolutely wonderfullness of a workshop retreat! Great excuse to finally hop over to the other side of the world and be surrounded with the most ambitious photographers and be inspired all around!

I have so much passion for photography, I just need some direction.

I'm from sweden, its -15c here. Enough said? oh yeah, classes would be really cool too.

This is great! I'd really like to win this one ;) ... The photography courses look awesome and I would really want to learn something from these experts. And of course Bahamas – paradise! Fingers crossed!

Which amateur photographer wouldn't want to go to the Bahamas and get a free workshop on top of that?

I've done some workshops with others before but this would surely take the cake. Amazing opportunity!

Thanks for the great article on the contest Patrick. Every morning when I get to work, the first thing I do is to browse to the Fstoppers.com page and read some amazing photography articles. I love your work. I can´t wait to meet the FStoppers team!

Last day to win. Fingers crossed. Need this workshop in my life right now!

As a San Francisco father of 2 very young sons (2.5 years old and a 12 week old), I see this training as an ideal opportunity to develop my skills so that I can documents their lives within San Francisco as this grow and change along with our beautiful city.

I want to win this contest simply because it's an amazing learning opportunity which I wouldn't otherwise be able to attend for financial (read: student) reasons.

This would be one of those points where I look back and say, "There! That's where things took a turn. That's where it all began to change." Hoping for a chance to look back on a time like that.

Sounds like an awesome opportunity!

Good luck to all in this contest, I usually don't enter contests, but sounds like fun and a great learning experience from the best out there.

would love to go. I'm booked every weekend in May with events and I'm hoping to transition to shooting fewer events and more architecture and editorial portraits. With baby #3 coming in July, this is probably the last chance to get away for quite some time...

Enter! I'm no different than anybody else here :) But it's time I got lucky just this once!

A chance to learn from the talented photographers that I've been following and watching videos from in the ultimate paradise would be beyond amazing! Aaron Nace & the guys from SLR Lounge have helped me grow as a photographer and retoucher so much already to ask questions in person would be a dream come true!

What an amazing workshop to learn and improve upon my photography.! I would love the opportunity to go to the Bahamas to do both film and digital photography and get all kinds of animals including those which live underwater.

Sounds like an opportunity of a lifetime! I would love to win this trip and learn from some pros! Talk about stepping up your photography game.

I am in the midst of rebranding my small photography business that I have had for the past 8 years. This workshop and learning from those involved would be an amazing opportunity to guide me though jumpstarting my career and business. #headshotphotographer#travelphotographer Crossing my fingers!!

Because I work for you and I want a free trip! Also because at 846 comments I think this may sneak in under the radar. :)

I admit, the chance is slim but you never know...

My job is ending in 28 days and I'm both nervous and excited... I'm looking forward to the pressure of being pushed out of my comfort zone and being forced to do something that i'm passionate about, something that i love and something i've always dreamed of doing but never had the guts/pressure/chance... to do- photography full-time! i would soak up every bit of knowledge you guys have to offer and make the most of this amazing opportunity! thanks for the shot at wining!

Would love to have the chance to go see this amazing line up of speakers!

What a great opportunity to talk in depth with leading image creators, share and exchange ideas, concepts and techniques.

For me still life photography is an art, you have to deeply understand light to be able to create an mind blowing image from a product shoot. I can say without a doubt that Rob Grimm is my main influence, and for a young brazilian photographer such as myself, the oportunity to join his workshop would be a lifetime experience.

Sounds like fun

I changed my mind I don't really want to go to the Bahamas to work with some of the best in the world. I will just stay right here in SE Michigan and take photos of melting Ice flows. See what I did there? Reverse psychology! Did it work?
