How do you win this trip for free? Details are below:

Contest 1: All expense paid trip to the 2014 Fstoppers Workshop in Nassau, Bahamas.

This contest is open to everyone world-wide. On February 1st, 2014, one lucky Fstoppers fan will win a flight voucher worth up to $500 to travel to the workshop in the Bahamas. They will also win accommodations for 5 nights at the Atlantis Resort and access to any of the courses offered throughout the event. A passport is required to enter the Bahamas so make sure your documents are current and up to date.

On February 1st we will randomly choose 1 name from each of the areas mentioned above and randomly draw one as the grand prize winner.

Contest 2: Full Refund on All Paid Classes

This second contest is open only to those who have signed up and paid for a class at the 2014 Fstoppers Workshop. To inspire you guys to sign up early, rather than waiting until the last minute, on February 1st we will pick one lucky attendee and reimburse their entire photography workshop class package. The full refund amount will depend on the number of classes bought prior to the announcement of the winner. Since this year's workshop is limited to about 200 students, your chances of being chosen are much greater than the above contest open to the general public.

Additional Rules and Terms:
All entries must be submitted before 11:59 PM eastern time on January 31st for consideration. Prizes are contingent on winner attending the workshop and are worth no actual monetary value. Winning trip and classes cannot be transferred or given to anyone other than the winner. Passport is required.

Sounds like fun!

Got into photography in 2001. I haven't been anywhere exciting to photograph or and real training. Actually this would be my first trip to anywhere aside from South Carolina since I got got out of the Army in 1994. Looks like a beautiful place to visit, photograph and learn.

Thank You for the consideration!

I've been to and photographed some of the highest and more dangerous roads in the world in Ladhak and would be great to compliment that with some great photos at sea level. :) :)

This would be exciting. Learning in a beautiful place like the Bahamas. I want in.

Like some, I have tinkered with photography since classes in High School, yearbook, and a couple side jobs. It was my favorite course (aside from Yearbook). My goal is to have two jobs, one that supports the family and one that I derive inspiration from. My hope is that a superb opportunity such as this will equip me for the latter, and maybe, just maybe, help bring both occupations into one.

This would be the trip of a lifetime! Having a new photography business for less than one year has presented challenges, both with client building as well as with technique building. I would be humbled and honored to work with the masters supporting this event.

I want to be the one that Fstoppers pushes over the hump and into the next big thing!

I cant even begin to say how awesome it would be to win this trip. It would change my life. Ive been following fstoppers, peter hurley, phlearn, rgg, slrlounge and yall have helped me so much. this trip would be beyond words. Thanks for everything yall do.

Would love to win this. I admire and respects the talents of everyone on this list. I would be amazing to get away with my family and learn from the likes of Dixie, Hurley, etc, Best of luck to everyone and here's hoping I win :P I'm very passionate about photography and this would be a great oppurtunity, to say the least.

I want to win to help grow my skills as a photographer.

I am allergic to sunlight. I am also scared of palm trees, due to a childhood episode involving a monkey, a coconut and a plastic banana. Nevertheless I am prepared to conquer these issues if I win this prize, because the thought of a week of fstoppers workshops has me squealing in excitement. I LOVE what you guys offer each week; I have already learned a lot. I'd love to take another big step away from mediocrity and towards becoming the tog I want to be.

I'd just LOVE to break out of my 9-to-5, and launch a NEW career in commercial photography in 2014! And, I'd love to thank Fstoppers for helping to make that happen (by having won a chance to join them at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, and by learning from all of their AMAZING INSTRUCTORS)!

Love to go!

Being able to chop it up with John Keatley and Michael Grecco would be insane. I work on a marketing team for a clothing company as their photographer, so seeing how Keatley approaches marketing would be amazing. I really want to see Rob Grimm's product lighting method too.
What I'm really trying to say is pretty pretty please :)

Talk about an opportunity. Been a fan of all you guys on here and have found so much inspiration and learned almost everything I have from this site. Just incredible to see you guys are able to offer something like this. Keep up the great work fells! My pitch would have to include the fact I rarely have traveled in my lifetime and get excited to just cross the borders of Indiana to another state so the opportunity to travel out to a tropical island would be just incredible.

I would like to go, because if I win my mommy will can't lock me at home! As a new photographer and retoucher I'm always trying to learn new things! I'm a big fan of Aaron, and would be veeery nice if could talk with him!

A break from a harsh North Dakota winter to learn more about something I'm passionate from Fstoppers in the Bahamas? I can't think of something I'd enjoy more. Here's hoping!

INSANE contest!!!! Just bought the "How To Become A Commercial Wedding Photographer" DVD, full time profession in site...FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS!! Impossible is nothing...however this opportunity is everything! :D

My goodness, Living on a frugal budget, at age 66 what a wonderful chance to win a dream educational trip to enhance my photography work,

Excellent, truly a dream workshop. As a producer, photographer and media educator, this workshop would give me huge push towards getting my photographic career together - and tons of great ideas and skills I could pass along to the kids and youth I've worked with as a media educator in the field of photography! Cheers!

I capture of special moments. I try to bring human emotion back into daily life through visual media. This job is hard when you're 18 and have no formal training. However it also means adventure and youth is on my side. I'm not afraid to experiment, to create cliche' moments and spin them on their head to produce something that either astounds or shocks. Winning a trip to the Bahamas to be a part of the Fstoppers workshop would be another adventure, an adventure full of chances to flip the cliche and typical tourist shot and make it vibrantly different and pop. To be able to gain invaluable lessons from artists with years of experience behind them would be a blessing and an honour. Those seeds of wisdom planted years ago on Youtube by these artists, will now have come to mature, growing and flourishing as I get to meet them in person and share my experience as an e-learner and young artist.

I just wanna get off the ground and find a steady hold in photography. I'm trying to take advantage of every opportunity I can get. I really want a successful and fulfilling career in photography. It's has become a very large part of me and my life!

I want to win this contest because it would give me an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and allow me to clear my head. It will also allow me to do some strategic planning and much needed business development.

Wow. This is an incredible opportunity. I'd love to win the prize; it would give me a chance to do something i might not ever be able to do otherwise. This kind of training with such an incredible group of instructors is literally a once-in-a-lifetime event.

I've spent my life working hard (holding down 3-4 part time jobs at a time), now one full time job that calls for over 50 hrs of my time in a week (and more in the summer-but hey I'm employed, which is more than most people have!) I spent 3.5 years in college earning my BA in photography-taking 16+ credit hours in the falll & spring, and then 12 hrs in the summer months. I've done pro bono work, grunt work, crap work, had others take credit for my work, (you know the drill..)

I've neglected my health to put all of my energy into saving for the future, (so when I DO retire that my husband and I will live semi-comfortably). I've done everything I've needed to do...so why? Because just once I need a break. And I know that what I say in this post doesn't matter...but damn I needed to get that off my chest.

What a way and place to learn. A start of a new career in a new country too

An amazing way to Learn

Just. Wow. Complete awesomeness. Can I hold up a "pick me, pick me" sign? :)

I am Sam. I'd love to win this contest because I want to surround myself with like-minded individuals that are the absolute best in the world in the same field as I am. I want to join that best in the world club. I have the skills and knowledge through graduating from photo school, but more is always better. Be a student of the game and always evolve. This could help me do just that.

Thank you.

- Sam

There are a lot of people that would be more deserving to win this trip for sure. Those who are more established and about to break through in the industry and this workshop is the answer to them. There are photographers less fortunate then me and this trip would benefit them greatly. I pray they would get picked for this great opertunity. For me this trip would be a blessing I picked up the camera just a year ago in hopes to get back my artistic mind I had In high school and college. It was a big investment and I truly wanted to step out of the norm and maybe fill the void I have had for so long. Once I did my whole life change. It got harder more frustrating trying to learn so much anyway I can. Unfortunately the artists into community are never helpful nor believe in what you guys do on a daily basis. I'm 32 yrs old and just finding what I wanna do for the rest of my life. And that's making pictures. I love the emotion that the earth gives when I'm capturing her. Or capturing a moment for someone that my soul scream with joy. This workshop I believe would bring me over the edge and truly jump start my new found love and career

Hi fstoppers I would love to be a part of this workshop in the Bahamas this would be such a great learning experience for me. Thanks guys for all you do for the Photography industry Keep up the good work.

I would love to win this contest not only to improve my wedding photography, but to take it to the next level....also, the cold weather SUCKS and I need some sunshine! :)

Cool opportunity..cant really say get out of the cold but a beach vacation would be nice

Meh, 33% of the value of this would be taxes.

This may be the only chance I have to attend this amazing workshop ! Thank you Fstoppers for the opportunity of a lifetime - this would have to turn anyones' craft on it's head !

a million to one odds...but I'd give anything to have a beer with Peter Hurley

I'll be a sponge! Plus, it's a vacation that I can write off? Sign me up!

I have to go to the some warm place with some light. Please!

Im lucky to have found photography and have committed my life to exploration of it and what it really means to paint with light and paint with shadow. I know that I may not have as much "credibility" as a more seasoned photographer, however, I know my passion is real and the opportunity would be life changing.

I have been shooting just over a year and could really use some workshops to take it to the next level. Please pick me!

I'd love to join on this! I've honestly been developing as a photographer over the years mostly through my own devices -- experience from shooting with friends and a tidbit here or there from some creativeLIVE classes when I manage to catch it. I shoot as natural as possible and have for years, but have been surpassed in popularity by current trends and over editing. It would be great to see excel past where I stand from this experience.

This would be the best win of my life!!!

After 10 years of military service, I have decided to finally pursue my dreams of becoming a full time photographer. I remember getting the “early notification” and thought that this would be a fantastic opportunity. Unfortunately I was unable to procure the funds for such a trip. Finally, hopefully someday the opportunity will arise and I will be able to attend a future Fstoppers workshop.

I would love to win this trip. there are a lot of really great mentors on the schedule. Having recently resigned from my full time position to pursue photography as my profession, the truth is that I simply don't have the funds to make the trip. If Fstoppers can help out, I'd definitely be there!

I'd actually like to do something different and apply for this on behalf of my good friend. She's a model and also a photographer (yep one of those talented few) who's started her own photography business shooting events and weddings. We've talked about this event a few times but as were in the UK, the cost is too much especially with her trying to get her business running. She's the sort of person that always throws herself at something 100% and never complains. I think it'd be an amazing gift for her to be able to attend this event.

I would love to go! While I love living in the mountains, it doesn't really give me a chance to shoot on the beach :)

As my only daughter left for college this fall I am now officially in the empty nester stage of life. It has been quite a challenge. Reconnecting with my joy - photography I have taken on my photography full time and would love an opportunity to attend this awesome conference of workshops. I have recently partnered with a fellow photographer and we are opening our first studio in less than a month. Winning would be my ultimate f-stop :)

What a fabulous opportunity! Looking forward to seeing who wins!

I lost my job Dec of 2012. I picked up the fstoppers DVD on how to be a wedding photographer. And ever since then, I've been on a determined drive to start my own business. It's difficult. It's tedious, and it's hard to cope with at times because I've practically used up all my savings for this endeavor and I budget on eating cup of noodles and potatoes. But I am trying to live a dream. I just wish I had a little more help, and I think I could really benefit from this and recontribute back towards the artistic community.
