Photographer of the Month Awards for 2017

Beginning in January, we'll be selecting a photographer of the month. Each month, we'll cull the best of the most recent photos in the community and select our favorite, featuring that photographer's work. At the end of the year, we'll select an overall winner from the 12 monthly winners, who will win a tutorial of their choice from the Fstoppers store. To qualify each month, you simply must have uploaded an image to your portfolio in the past 30 days. So, get out there, post some photos, and check out the work of the talented Fstoppers community! We're pleased to have you here.

Where Art Meets Architecture 1

Photographing The World: Cityscape, Astrophotography & Post-processing.

My eyes are on Mike Kelley's Where Art Meets Architecture 2. All the F-Stoppers content is great, but architecture is one of the least-covered topics in the world of photo tutorials. It's harder to come by than content that focuses on portraits, weddings, and landscapes.

Mike Kelley's Where Art Meets Architecture 2
I've been looking into branching out into that genre of photography and think this will point me in the right direction.

Peter Hurley: The Art Behind The Headshot

My Vote is for Raymond Hoffmann. His photos are just incredible how his skys are super soft, but the objects in the pictures are very clear and detailed. Also everything is perfectly framed and unique and just awesome.

I would love to get a free copy of Photographing the World: Landscape. I have watched every single behind the scenes videos on YouTube and also watched the first free episode and WOW I have totally changed the way I post process photos from just Episode 1. I can't imagine what I could do if I was able to get the entire series. I really loved all the Phantom footage in the behind the scenes and all the cool tripods and gadgets that you guys used. The dual camera setups and panorama stuff was also cool and I have been able to try that out myself in the field. I am dying to see this series and hoping this may be my CHANCE!!!!

How To Become A Professional Commercial Wedding Photographer DVD

One of Elia Locardi's tutorials - the occasional free parts on fstoppers looked very promising.

I feel like l've gotten a lot of the technical aspects of photography down, but I'd love to dive deeper into light and really master it.
