Photographer of the Month Awards for 2017

Beginning in January, we'll be selecting a photographer of the month. Each month, we'll cull the best of the most recent photos in the community and select our favorite, featuring that photographer's work. At the end of the year, we'll select an overall winner from the 12 monthly winners, who will win a tutorial of their choice from the Fstoppers store. To qualify each month, you simply must have uploaded an image to your portfolio in the past 30 days. So, get out there, post some photos, and check out the work of the talented Fstoppers community! We're pleased to have you here.

I would be thrilled to win the upcoming tutorial on Editorial and fashion photography with Clay Cook. I love editorial fashion and this is my focus for 2017. Clay's work is inspirational and I aspire to create images as creative and wonderful as his.

Thanks Fstoppers!

Cityscape tutorial because I would really like to learn more about Elia's post processing methods, especially with mixed lighting and merging shots from different times into one photo.

Cinematic Headshots tutorial, as I am learning the techniques to get better with head shots.

I would LOVE to win either tutorial of Photographing the World with Elia Locardi. I am an old school photographer looking to catch up with modern times (ie post-processing). I love his teaching style and feel we have similar photography perspectives/beliefs. I am also soon to be embarking on my own year off round-the-world adventure and could use a little help expanding my creativity while on the road :)

Photographing the World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing. Starting the second semester of freshman year at college in Boston and this would be a great tutorial to have access to when working on photography assignments, as I often photograph the city.

Joey Wright's Swimwear

Photographing the World- Landscape Photography. Landscape photography is my weakest area, but I would really like to have training with an Fstoppers Original tutorial so that I can improve as a photographer and become more well-rounded.

World Cityscapes and Post. I can't find a jacket like Eli's, so figure his tutorial would be the next best thing. Seriously, love travel and want to reflect what I see in a more polished manner.

Photographing the World: Landscape. I really enjoyed the BTS. I also like Elia's photography.

Photographing the world - Landscape. Love to travel and shoot outdoor/nature, your behind the scenes are always great but I loved the landscape one the most.

Lighting the face by Hurley.

Illuminating the Face. Thanks!
