Photographer of the Month Awards for 2017

Beginning in January, we'll be selecting a photographer of the month. Each month, we'll cull the best of the most recent photos in the community and select our favorite, featuring that photographer's work. At the end of the year, we'll select an overall winner from the 12 monthly winners, who will win a tutorial of their choice from the Fstoppers store. To qualify each month, you simply must have uploaded an image to your portfolio in the past 30 days. So, get out there, post some photos, and check out the work of the talented Fstoppers community! We're pleased to have you here.

Elia #2

Photographing The World: Landscape Photography and Post-Processing with Elia Locardi
I love landscape photography and I'm sure that this tutorial would improve my skills, which I will be able to share on fstoppers community :-)
I have watched all behind the scenes and I have a lot of fun with this material. First free lesson of this tutorial was full of very good tips and technics so I believe whole tutorial is great!

cityscape photography, I do a lot of landscape and nightscape and I wouldlike to start also shooting in the city

Dylan Patrick's Cinematic Headshot :)

Photographing the World: Landscape

Cinematic headshots please!

Elia Locardi: Photographing the World I - simply because i want to be able to capture the beauty of the world we live in a little bit better.

Jeoy Wright: Swimwear Photography ... the closest tutorial to shooting models related topic.

Landscape because I want to improve my photography to start selling my photos.

Photographing The World
Because Elia Locardi is owesome!

Photographing the World: Landscape by Elia Locardi. When I go to a location either planned or spontaneous, I see an image in my mind that I want to create. Frequently, I'll end up with an image I like OK, but not the image I saw in my mind. In retrospect, it might be because my composition was a little off, or I did not use the light to my best advantage, or I rushed to get a lot of shots rather than being patient to get THE shot, or my post processing skills are inadequate...I watched the first episode of Photographing the World and am using some things I learned from it. I'd love to continue with the series.

Photographing the World: Landscape

I would love to get the Photographing the World: Landscape tutorial. I think every photo from Elia is stunning, and I'd like to find out his workflow and improve my photography skills.

Photographing the World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY Peter Hurley: The Art Behind The Headshot. Just getting into flash and would love to learn more techniques.

It was a toss up between Cityscapes and Landscapes. I Think I will go with Photographing The World: Landscape Photography and Post-Processing with Elia Locardi.
As a landscape photographer, I always want to learn more about it.

Difficult to choose from these great courses, but definitively Elia Locardi. I would love to improve with Cityscape Photography.

Mike Kelley's Where Art Meets Architecture 2

Photographing The World: Landscape Photography and Post-Processing with Elia Locardi

I watched the Behind The Scene videos and while I won't get the opportunities to travel where Elia and y'all did, there are techniques that I can use. Also, if I recall correctly, that series has a tutorial about photographing the Milky Way, which is something that I'm interested in.

I would like to get Elia Locardi "Photographing the World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing" I follow the work by Elia for some time and also met him two times at Photokina. SInce I am into landscape and cityscape photography, I would like to improve my techniques by his tutorial. My favorite Photographer of the year is Raymond Hoffman. Very nice landscape photography.

Photographing the world: Landscape! :)

Joey Wright: Swimwear Photography is the one I'd like. =)

Where art meets architecture Part 1 would be amazing!

Illuminating The Face

Haha, I don't know of my vote counts or not. But of all those INSANELY talented photographers, I had to go with Raymond Hoffman, that dude's images practically BEG me to go check out Iceland!

Oh, and I would pick the Joey Wright tutorial, it's been on my to-get list for a while now and I would love to learn his posing and lighting techniques!

Photographing the World: Landscape Photography & Post-Processing. Elia's photographs are unbelievable and truly inspiring. Being able to learn from watching his process and workflow would be priceless.

Would love to win Landscape Photography and Post-processing

Where Art Meets Architecture 2.

I already own Mike Kelley's first tutorial, but I'm torn between his second tutorial, or one of Elia Locardi or Peter Hurley's tutorials...

But if I win, I'll go with Elia's Cityscape Photography. Thanks Fstoppers!

Joey Wright: Swimwear please!

I'd love to win Dylan Patrick's The Cinematic Headshot. I do lots of landscape and wildlife photography currently and would love to get into headshots! After watching Dylans promo, I don't think there could be anything better to teach me the right way to do it. His work is AMAZING!!!

I would love Elai Locardi landscape tutorial - I've been following him for years and would love to know how he gets his images
