Photographer of the Month Awards for 2017

Beginning in January, we'll be selecting a photographer of the month. Each month, we'll cull the best of the most recent photos in the community and select our favorite, featuring that photographer's work. At the end of the year, we'll select an overall winner from the 12 monthly winners, who will win a tutorial of their choice from the Fstoppers store. To qualify each month, you simply must have uploaded an image to your portfolio in the past 30 days. So, get out there, post some photos, and check out the work of the talented Fstoppers community! We're pleased to have you here.

'Headshots' tutorial please!

The Cinematic Headshot

Where art meets architecture 1 because I'd struggle with architecture photography and I'd love to learn the light painting aspects of that work.

Would love Jeoy Wright: Swimwear Photography

Photographing The World: Cityscape, Astrophotography & Post-processing. (Because we visit multiple new countries every year, and would like to see how to step up my photographic results)

Would love to win a free amazing tutorial.

Elia Locardi's cityscape photography

swim wear photography - Joey Wright
I've basically bought almost every entire Fstoppers tutorials and I've been getting some gigs lately where Joey's tutorial might come in hand. A LOT

The joey wright swimwear photography tutorial (after seeing his work is learn so much from it)

Where art Meets architecture 1, I really love the way Mike Kelleys images turn out and I would love to try and get some results similar myself. I was recently asked to take photos of a house for someone who is selling and I am really going in with the knowledge I got from the BTS and the one free clip from the first tutorial. Good luck to all running for fstoppers photographer of the year!

Elia Locardi's cityscape photography

I'd absolutely love to win that Photographing the World: Landscape Photography & Post-Processing tutorial! While I do enjoy shooting portraits, there's something so peaceful about shooting a beautiful landscape, and I'l love the chance to learn more from the professionals themselves.

ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Mike Kelley's Where Art Meets Architecture 2

Photographing The World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing

Illuminating the Face

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY Peter Hurley: The Art Behind The Headshot. I really need to work on headshot technique.

Photographing The World: Cityscape, Astrophotography & Post-processing because I admire Elia Locardi and the work that he does and know that he's a great teacher after watching the free episode of Photographing the World.

Eric Paré.

I am waiting for Elia's next one that I believe starts filming in a couple of weeks. I already have his first two. :)

Geez, you already know about it huh? I'm not even sure when we take off or where we are heading but it should be awesome :)

Oh yeah! and I am looking forward to the BTS too! Do you still have your moon boots?

maybe.....

Whoa this was a hard choice, but in the end I had to give it to Rex Jones. I love his work, it pops up at the bottom of articles often for me and every time I see it I find myself stopping and admiring again and again.

Swim wear photography - Joey Wright
I very much want to see the lesson about posing subjects and see his retouching workflow

It would be great to have Dina Balenko do a course but until then..... Rob Grimm's Editorial Food Photography has me salivating. Thank you FS team. Happy New Year.

Photographing The World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing

Photographing the World: Landscape

Peter Hurley: The Art Behind The Headshot, as i own almost all of the rest

swim wear photography - Joey Wright

Where art Meets architecture 1.
It will be a great continuation of advanced digital processing like Elia's tutorial. But this time with artificial light. I need to improve my flash photography.

I would love be to win your wedding photography tutorial. It looks very in depth!

I would like to win Photographing the World. I've seen all of the BTS video's and I'm a big fan of Elia Locardi, but as a 16 year old landscape photographer, the full course is a little too expensive. Everithing I've learned was from tutorials and articles from people like you, so thank you!

The joey wright swimwear photography tutorial would be fantastic

Would love to check out Mike Kelley's Where Art Meets Architecture 2!

Gotta go with Hoffman in this one and I would love to own Commercial Wedding Photography!

So many amazing photographers on this site, not sure if my vote is going through but my pick would be Erik McRitchie.

It's more like Graphic Designer of the Year...

ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY - Mike Kelley's Where Art Meets Architecture 2

Dylan's The Cinematic Headshot

damn you have too many tutorials :D
but, "Portrait" i guess would be my first choice!

Photographing the World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing, because Elia Locardi is amazing

Elia Locardi's "Photographing the World: Landscape".

joey wright swimwear photography

Peter Hurleys Illuminating the face because I want to learn all the basics and more advanced techniques for lighting.

Photographing the World with Elia Locardi because I love his style and I had a good laugh watching the behind the scenes

Photographing The World: Cityscape, Astrophotography & Post-processing. I want start an Astrophotography serie and would love to learn more about it

Landscape

Photographing The World: Landscape Photography and Post-Processing with Elia Locardi. Would love to learn to take better landscape photos.

Photographing the World: Cityscape, Astrophotography, and Advanced Post-Processing, because I love night photography but cant seem to get my "Astrophotography" to work out right.

Where Art Meets Architecture 1 - I need to expand my skills base and I believe this course offers numerous skills/techniques that, while focused on architecture, cross over to other areas of photography.
