Coming to you from Gary Gough, this great video discusses 10 tips to help you improve your landscape photography. Of the tips, I think the most salient for me was making an effort to take your time. In today's world centered around instant gratification, it can be tempting to push to get a shot sooner rather than later or to try to force a shot that just isn't there (yet). Landscape photography in particular requires patience, particularly since you can't control the light or conditions, and because of that, you might often find yourself waiting quite a while for a shot. I've definitely been guilty of becoming impatient and trying to force a shot, leaving the scene before the right time arrived and trying to force a winning image in post later on, only to create more frustration because it wasn't something worthwhile to begin with. It's definitely worth learning to be more patient.
