The final step of any Lightroom session is the export process, and while it might seem like a simple thing, the application actually provides you with a wide range of options that allow you to customize the output to your needs. Coming to you from Aaron Nace with Phlearn, this helpful video discusses Lightroom's export dialog, both what you can do with it and what the best settings to use for a wide range of scenarios are. Depending on how you share your images, you will likely have a range of different export settings you need to use, at which point, I highly recommend creating and saving some presets so you can quickly and easily bring up what you need in the future. I also recommend establishing a consistent naming scheme and building this into the presets as well. For example, I make sure that all my website images have very specific names and numbering, which makes it very easy to keep everything organized, even as I continue to add images over time.
