Retouching hair can be one of the trickiest tasks you have to do as a portrait photographer, and there is no universal technique that fits every situation. Coming to you from Kayleigh June, this great video tutorial will show you several different methods for retouching frizzy hair using Photoshop, along with topics like removing stray hairs and reshaping the hair. Retouching hair was definitely the technique that took me the longest to become even just basically proficient with, and it can be especially challenging depending on the sort of background and images you are dealing with. One thing I think gets overlooked a lot is that you can reshape your subject's hair in Photoshop (this is actually rather easy compared to retouching flyaways). This can be a great way to add a bit of volume or to help the hair better frame the face. Like any sort of retouching, just remember that in this case, less is more, so make subtle adjustments to build up the effect.

Great little tip. Thanks Alex
