I keep looking at this an what to like it but not sure how it makes me feel. I don't care for the horizon line (or lake line) in the middle of landscape photos. Here you are probably going more for symmetry with the reflection but the grass and flowers in the foreground take that away I think. Maybe closer to the water, maybe a vertical, maybe just focus on the sky?
Maybe its a composite and thats whats throwing me?
Good idea though.
I agree with you. My eye keeps going to the dark band in the center of the image, and I want to see more sky but can't
