I was camping at the Hoh Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington with a buddy. The first afternnon we decided to go to the ocean to check things out. It was a very moody evening by the time we hiked all the way to the beach. Standing the water I kept getting bitten by these little creatures popping up from the sand , so I would start my exposure then run back to the dry land. Shot with a 5D MK II and 16-35 f/4L with a Lee Big Stopper.
