Sunset image taken at Dead Man’s Cove on Washington coast. I shot this at a very low angle to framed this image to include the island and lone tree with a slight offset with the cliffs on the hillside. Although we had some color in the clouds it was subdued and with a small percentage of orange and mostly blue tones. I color graded this to magnify the vivid colors that “could have happened”, to emphasize the color reflected in the wet sand and warm up the overall image.
