2.03 - "Needs Work"

This shot is taken on a Nikon D5300 with the kit 18-55mm lens. It has been worked over in lightroom and photoshop it is a HDR composite of 3 exposures. If you vote on this photo I would like to hear your feed back on the rating you give.

Hi there, appreciate the work you've done into post processing, just wanted to point out what I feel could have been done a bit better. The HDR effect is a little bit too obvious especially parts of the sky being close to black. Also the detail in the shadows is lost. as of the shadows are a bit black. Also The reflection work seems to be overdone, The lens flare from the sun is a property of the lens and should not be present in the reflection. Maybe its real, but it doesn't seem so. Hope this helps!

I really appreciate the pointers. Shockingly it is part of the photo(lens flare). As is the reflection. It was so strong in the RAW photo that i actually tried to blure it out a bit in post, hence the long exposure fill. The reflections was like a straight mirror. I wish i could show the raw raw files some where

P.S. after looking at the picture on a computer, what looks like a lens flare is actually light beems coming between the branches of the trees. I am pretty sure that is why it has a reflection in the water
