I acquired Tahoe Blue Vodka as a client simply by buying some of their vodka when they were a small startup, taking a sample product photo of it and sending it to them for FREE. Instead of giving them a link to my website with examples of my work or sending them a brochure, I just showed them what I was capable of doing on their own product. I figured I was more likely to get the work if they saw their own product look better than it ever has before. Doing this has snowballed into many other shoots for them as well.
