This photo of the Milky Way was taken through the doorway of a ruined homestead in Joshua Tree National Park. It's a single 10-second image at f/2.8 and ISO 12800 (which is why it's so grainy.)

Very cool idea for the shot. I love the frame, the placement of the milky way, but there is just a tad bit of movement in the vegetation that crosses above the horizon.
Yeah, it was windy that night. Those clouds were moving across the sky fast. If they hadn't been, I don't think the Milky Way would have been visible at all.
