24mm, f/4, 3600 sec, ISO 100

My first attempt at a long exposure for star trails. I didn't have enough light to bring out the trees and I had just rolled into camp and didn't want to wake anyone walking through their site at midnight. I've read about sensors overheating during a long exposure, but at one hour, my camera was fine. Maybe it was the cool mountain air at 7500' that helped control the temp. This was shot at Shaver Lake, CA. 10/4/2018.
