This photo was taken on the shore of a Finnish lake during the first storm of spring. I sat on the shore under a tree, soaked and riddled with mosquito bites, determined to get a shot of the lightning within this night landscape. I set my tripod on the shore with my camera covered in a plastic bag, and proceeded to take continuous 30 second shots. I was extremely thrilled to get home and see that I caught two lighting strikes within one 30 second exposure. These natural strobe lights lit up the shore and revealed the rocky composition that I hoped to get within the frame. I couldn't have been happier.
