I took this with a telephoto lens across the Ottawa River in October at midnight. The steam is from the nearby paper mill. The conditions really came together for the composition to work: the wind flowing in the right direction, a clear sky, and calm water.

I think you could crop the top and bottom quarters, the extra space does offer anything extra to me. Otherwise, very nice!
