This is my favorite of the images I have seen of your Mom. I would suggest exposing the image just a little more. It seems pretty dark. I would love to see this taken again with a reflector on the dark side helping throw a little light on the shadow side of Mom's face. Don't get it to close, just a little fill to help knock down the harshness of the shadow.
Also, something I need to work on myself is filling the frame. Move-in closer to your Mom. Have her be more of the image. There is about half the image that is just empty space. Show her off, be proud, this image would have so much impact if she was more prominent in it.
