When we got to Isla Mujeres it was a bright sunny day as we walked around downtown. However, when we made our way to the beach we saw this storm approaching from the mainland and I thought it was odd that there were people still partying on the water like the storm didn't matter.

I like this. I remember being on small boats on patrol during monsoon seasons and watching skies get dark as night and move in swallowing the boat. That boat sitting there better hope the anchor holds and they don't start drifting, unless it is underway on it's own power...

Thanks, D Man! Yes, it was under power and headed back to the marina, i think. It wasn't one of my better shots but I was able to get a shot of lightning from this storm from the back of our boat as we rushed from the island back to the mainland. We got soaked!
