I asked a skateboarder if I could take a photo of him doing a flip while I'm in the bowl with my flash strobe pointed at him.
I had planned this composition beforehand thanks to the app 'Photopills'.
I went in this location prior to the photoshoot and used the augmented reality feature. I wanted the sun in that strip between the aerial subway and the ground. I had a smal window of half an hour to make it happen.
