Your Best Images of 2024

This picture was taken during the 6 hours of SPA. This GT40 just came into the pit lane due to mechanical problems. Mechanics were rushing toward the car; the track marshal was shouting around to keep everybody off the lane. And here I was, on my knees in front of the car, pushed around by the other fellow photographers, nearly run over by cars pulled back into their garages. And man, it was raining like the end of the world. I couldn’t see what I was aiming because the screen was flooded by the rain, and I wasn’t even sure that I pushed the trigger because my fingers were numb from the cold and the rain. I just get up in time before the guy in front of the car gave the sign to start the engine to get the car out of the pit.
