I was shooting with a telephoto when the mom led the twins into the lake, but once I realized they were going to come back (there was a bull that the mom was worried about), I quickly switched to my medium zoom to capture the whole scene. I was in a perfect spot and had 10 seconds before the moment was over. For processing, I had to do quite a bit of work in LR to balance the exposure (I was exposing for the sunrise) and the colors. I removed some distractions in PS and used Topaz for denoising.
