I know this is pretty much the exact same as everyone else's totality shots, but this day was so fun. I saw the eclipse in 2017 in Nebraska but I wasn't prepared and definitely didn't have the photography knowledge to take really great photos. In the months leading up to April this year it was spent practicing and getting ready for April 8th. The skies were perfectly clear in far northern Arkansas and I recorded a temperature drop of about 20 degrees from first contact to totality. Temperatures then rose about 30 degrees after totality. Shot on a Nikon Z9 and Sigma 150-600 at 600mm. This image is a stack of 9 bracketed photos.
