I called this shot FALSE FRIENDS because they look so serene and peaceful. But they carry an awful sting if they touch you. I sw someone on the beach once who hadnt seen the jellyfishes and got stung. She was an urgent ambulance case. They are most dangerous because they are usually almost invisible, they also travel round in groups. Here they have some colour because of the lighting (Incandescent I believe). The water wasnt blue, that is from a blue background in a public acuarium in England. The shot was taken with Sony A7II on 24-70. The major difficulty was missing reflections. Then it was waiting for a good "pose". I took lots shots. Post was ON1 raw 2024
