Maybe one of the most iconic monasteries of Georgia if not the world. The Gergeti Trinit Church located in the Caucasus mountains already stood out to me when I first visited in 2019 and remained one of my highlights of the trip - so I had to come back. This time I spent a couple of days in the village but with no real chance for good light. I did not give up and hiked up to the church one morning and got to whiteness this beautiful sunrise.
