Rembrandt light on face created by two 1x4 strip lights on white side of image. Both strips were touching and aimed at the same part of the face. They were gridded and the back box was 1 stop brighter than the adjacent front strip.
Background is split between large white backlit scrim on left half and black 4x8 tape hinged flat on the right side. Weak reflective panel to the right of model to fill shadows slightly.
I shot level with the black/white background equally split centered behind model.
Post processing was minimal with cropping into background and tilting the crop to add diagonal interest to the face composition.
