Next to GeoCenter Møns Klint, at one of the most beautiful spots in Denmark, is a 496 step stairway leading down to the sea. The tree in this picture is located just 3-4 feet from the stairs, so an ultrawide angle was nescessary to capture all the roots, but I had none available. The light was so dim that you would definately prefer a tripod, but since the stairs was crowded with tourists in both directions, this was not an option at the time either. Just being able to stand still for a few seconds without being pushed was a challenge. Enter the Samsung Galaxy S7. Pulled it out of my pocket, set it to ultrawide, composed and shot. The S7 chose a 4mm, f/1.7, 1/300s, ISO-40 setting. In Darktable I lifted the shadows, applied some sharpening and local contrast plus some saturation.
