A baby African elephant shelters in a forest of legs at the Ark Lodge water hole outside Nairobi, Kenya. This image was shot with a 200-400mm f/4 Nikkor lens mounted on a Nikon D3S camera body. The lens was rested on a bean bag atop a wall for steadiness. The only difficulty was waiting for people to clear out a space in the wall to work from.
The original RAW image was converted to B&W in Adobe Lightroom.
I currently shoot with two Nikon Z9 bodies and an assortment of Z lenses.
