Shot this back in 2007 with my Canon 30D. I was very into minimalist long exposure landscape shots. It conveyed silence and solitude I thought. I was trying to get the perfect balance between nature and human presence in this photo.
Since then I had a lot of cameras, quit photography as a hobby and become a professional photographer; now I shoot with a Canon r6mk2 and a Canon r5. In the last few years I found the joy of landscape photography again and I do that as often as I can.
