This image was created as part of a series, shot infront of a "Funken" (a german/austrian tradition of lighting a big bonfire with often Christmas trees and other materials to expel winter). The fire went out of control relatively fast, which allowed us to shoot directly in front of it, with no people of the audience being in our way. I used the Canon R7 with the 50mm f/1.8 lens. For lighting I had a cheap LED Rod with me, which I set to a relatively warm white light, to match the colour temperature of the fire. In Editing afterwards only minor adjustments were done. The fire was about 10x6 meter in diameter I guess, apart from the big flames that were shooting out far beyond that.
