This photo was taken with a Nikon zf and Super-Takumar 35mm F3.5 in the countryside of Guangdong, China, the subject was my grandfather, it was my last day in China and he decided to take me back to the house he used to live in early in the morning, I decided to make some memories so I took my camera with me. The old house had been abandoned for a long time and there was no light inside, so he lit candles on the side, and while I was looking at the traces of the past and chatting with my grandfather about the past, I noticed the early morning sunlight on his face. Without hesitation I twisted the focus ring and pressed the shutter to take the picture.
I lowered the saturation a bit and adjusted the shadows, there were no unnecessary changes, I just wanted to preserve the feeling of the moment.
I like this
Thank you
Knocking back the exposure of the b/g, which is rather distracting, would help bring the man fwd more. Nice shot.
thank you🙏
